There are various web sites --- registries, databases, networking services, search engines, and so on --- that keep track of my professional profile, affiliations, research publications, calculate various statistics, etc. Some of them do this automatically, some expect me to update my profile data manually (which I rarely do, if ever). Some of them are official, obtaining information about my research papers directly from the relevant journals, while others are unofficial, relying on my own input to provide this data.
With a few exceptions, none of these sources are completely reliable, for various reasons. I usually make sure to maintain my arXiv page, while I pay attention to other services only if I need to. Below is the unsorted list of all those registries:
• | arXiv: | my author ID page | my public author identifier: http://arxiv.org/a/vojinovic_m_1
• | inSPIRE: | my publication profile
• | ORCID: | my profile | my ID number: 0000-0001-6977-4870
• | SCOPUS: | my preview | my author identifier: 35614638600
• | Research Gate: | my profile
• | Web of Science: | my research profile | my ResearcherID: J-5245-2015
• | Google Scholar: | my user profile |
