Title:   Knowledge about gravity and gravity about knowledge
Abstract:
Gravity is one of the most interesting phenomenons in nature, both for its practical effects in everyday life, and for its completely nontrivial theoretical understanding. In this lecture we will first give a short review of the evolution of our knowledge of gravity, and then we will discuss how the very understanding of the theory of gravitation influences our knowledge of everything else, and fundamentally changes our understanding of nature and our view of the world in general. The talk will be descriptive in charachter, without complicated math.
