10. April 2018.
Somewhere in the world, there is a city. In the city, there is a building. Inside the building, there is a room. A large, beautiful and shiny room, completely empty of furniture, just the walls and the floor. But neverhteless, still a very full room --- full of emotions, of music, of joy, of people. A ballroom.
People visit the ballroom to dance --- to take lessons, to practice, to listen to music, to socialize, to enjoy each others company. Dancing is a synergy of motion, music, emotions and teamwork. It is the only sport where collaboration completely overwhelms competitiveness. Regardless of the type of dance --- be it the waltz, the tango, the rumba or the merenge --- one aims to enjoy oneself and to help their dancing partner enjoy themselves, while moving in sync with the music. It is a beutiful and fulfilling activity, for people of all types, all ages and all backgrounds. It is one of the most rewarding and healthiest type of physical and mental activity in existence.
Some day, you may visit this city, you may find this building, and enter that room. You may take lessons, learn to dance, practice and enjoy yourself. You may make many friends, party, celebrate, even fall in love. One day, you may be able to dance with such motivation, skill and passion, so that your friends make a circle around you and your partner, to watch you perform. You may ignite awe and amazement in them, and be rewarded with a spontaneous applause and cheer of everyone in the room. It may be your time, your joy, your moment, your feeling, your dance.
And maybe, juuust maybe, some day, one day, that day, you may happen to dance --- with me.
